Is kestech VTC registered?

Yes, with Namibia Training Authority (NTA) offering NTA qualifications which are registered on Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA)(NTA/NQA accredited Unit Standards)

How do I register?

You can download the application form from the Forms & Documents section on our website, fill it in, and forward it to register@kestechtraining.com. Alternatively, you may apply online at apply@kestechtraining.com. The application fee is N$100.00, and proof of payment must be sent to finance@kestechtraining.com.

What is the course duration?

Over 3 years program students have to do 6 to 12 months of industrial practical and 6 months of theoretical courses/subjects at the centre.

How much is the Solar course fee?

Total fee N$ 30,500.00 (Including non refundable Registration fee of N$ 2,750.00), Application fee is N$ 100.00, Upfront 50% (N$ 15,250.00) is payable upon registration, the remaining amount is payable in installments of N$ 3,050.00 for (5) months.

How much is the Electrical course fee?

Total fee N$ 29,500.00 (Including non refundable Registration fee of N$ 2,750.00), Application fee is N$100.00, Upfront 50% (N$14,750.00) is payable upon registration, the remaining amount is payable in installments of N$2,950.00 for (5) months.

What are the requirements to be admitted at KVTC?

20 Points in (6) subjects in Grades 11/12 with the E symbol in English, Mathematics, and science. 23 Points in (6) subjects in Grade 10 with the E symbol in English, Mathematics, and science.

Applicants who are 23 years or older and do not meet the standard academic entry requirements may be considered for admission through the Mature Age Entry route. Candidates must:

  1. Complete a Literacy and Numeracy Assessment administered by the VTC.
  2. Attend a Competency Interview to determine readiness for vocational training.
  3. Provide evidence of relevant work experience, informal learning, or practical exposure (where applicable).

What is the subject offered on electrical N4-N6?

Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade, Industrial Electronics.

Does the KVTC offer personal protective equipment (PPE)?

Yes, it is the responsibility of the institution to ensure that all our trainees are supplied with PPE. Our centre issues personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a two-piece uniform, one pair of boots, and basic tools.

Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) and Namibia Training Authority (NTA) Funds Kestech Trainees?

As a training provider registered with NTA and NQA/NTA unit standards, its trainees will be eligible to acquire financial assistance after all necessary arrangements are completed.
